Adobe Certified Expert. Published author. International speaker. The trainer who turned a Software Engineering degree and zero design qualifications into one of Malaysia's most recognised creative careers — one certification at a time.

Najihah Najlaa grew up in Kelantan with a passion for creativity that her university couldn't accommodate. She graduated with honours in Software Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS — a degree with zero overlap with the creative career she dreamed of.
What happened next is what she now shares with every student she trains: credentials open doors that degrees alone cannot.
"My Adobe certification changed everything for me. Without my ACA and ACE certifications, I do not think I would be in the creative field at all."
In 2016, Najihah entered the Adobe Certified Associate Championship with modest ambitions — she wanted a line on her CV. She won the Malaysian National Championship, then placed 2nd in the world at the ACA World Championship in design. The recognition that followed changed the trajectory of her entire career.
The COO of a major Malaysian telecommunications company offered her a Graphic Designer role on the spot — despite her not holding a single design qualification. From there, she was invited to the Adobe Make-IT Local event in 2017, where she was discovered by a Master Trainer who asked her to teach at the Adobe Authorised Training Centre in Cyberjaya.
"I've seen a lot of people wasting their potential. They don't have the technical skills to use their tools to express their creative ideas. By teaching, I can break down the technical barrier."
From 2017 to 2019, she taught at the Training Centre while building her freelance practice as a photographer, videographer and designer. In 2019 she founded A Lifetime Project — her creative production and training company — and launched Sharingbasics as her education platform, reaching students beyond any single centre or city.
In 2020, Adobe recognised her as the only Malaysian Behance Featured Stream Artist. In 2021 she was selected as one of three Malaysians to speak at Adobe MAX — the world's largest creativity conference — alongside Henry Golding, sharing the stage with global creative luminaries.
In 2025 she published The Complete Guide to Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 through Packt Publishing — available on Amazon worldwide — distilling over a decade of expertise into a single resource that beginners and professionals can learn from at their own pace.
Today, Najihah leads A Lifetime Project with a singular mission: to make sure no one with creative potential is held back by a lack of technical skills or credentials. Over 200 training sessions. Over 800 students certified. Dozens of organisations trained — from Petronas and Air Asia to universities and government bodies across Malaysia.
Every credential here was earned — not given.
A decade of expertise in one book. Written for anyone who wants to master Premiere Pro — from absolute beginners to experienced editors wanting to level up. Available on Amazon worldwide.

She doesn't teach tools. She teaches confidence. The tools are just the vehicle.
Everyone has creative potential. Most people just lack the technical skills to express it. That gap is exactly what training closes.
A certification is not just a certificate — it is proof of capability that opens doors a degree sometimes cannot. She has lived this.
She still works as a freelance photographer, videographer and designer. Teaching from practice, not just theory, is non-negotiable.
The advice she gives every student: know where you want to go, connect the dots of opportunity, and put in your best effort. The rest follows.
Her mission is to make sure no one with genuine creative potential is held back by a lack of access to the right credentials or training.
